The institute is located at the 12 KM post on the Gaya-Dobhi road amidst a picturesque and sylvan surrounding. The building of Aakanksha has a sprawling campus of 1.2 acres secured by high compound walls. By virtue of its location at the cosmic confluence of Vishnudham (Vishnupad Temple) in north and Bodh-Dham (Bodhgaya Temple) in the east, it exerts a soothing effect upon its inhabitants
